Thanks to many years of experience with both glass and PV products Scheuten Solar was the right partner to come up with a solution for the roof of this environmentally friendly building in France. Considering the importance of this durable and public building in the area of Bourges many different parties were involved. Scheuten Solar informed the government regarding details of the project and worked intensively together with the contractors involved.

Scheuten Solar provided technical support regarding the country specific building codes. Besides that an official test took place on site to prove that the new PVB modules could withstand loads up to 1200 joules. The results were very satisfying and by August the 334 PVB modules and 50 insulated glass-glass modules with a total power output of almost 100 kWp were fitted in the roof consisting of wooden support beams.
