Scheuten Solar BIPV modules integrated in Mozart Tower in Paris
Scheuten Solar has produced and delivered 805 custom made BIPV modules for the famous Mozart Tower in the south of Paris. “Tour Mozart” is a showcase in environmental technology and achieved an excellent score in the HQE building certification process (high environmental quality in office buildings). The glass-glass solar modules are integrated in the roof of this prestigious building, also covering the terraces above the office spaces.
Thanks to many years of experience with both glass and PV products Scheuten Solar was the right partner to come up with a solution for partner SECM. The support structure for the modules consists of an ingenious spider system designed by SECM to whom Scheuten provided technical support regarding the module design. The combined system passed the ATEx procedure required for public buildings in France. The BIPV modules covering a surface of 360 square meters have an installed power output of almost 30 kWp.
